THE GROUP
The presence of the Bitossi family as owners of kilns in the area of Montelupo, the old ceramic district of Florence, is shown in documents in the archives of State since the XV century. Since that time the family has been active in the production of ceramics right up to the present day. It is in Montelupo Fiorentino that Guido Bitossi in 1921 started Manifattura Ceramica Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli, thus laying the foundations of the future Gruppo Colorobbia.
Today, the companies in Italy and the world that are part of the group, represent an important point of reference for the supply of semi processed materials, such that they cover the entire production process in every sector of the ceramic industry.
