Internally there are various levels of research activity at the Gruppo Colorobbia:
RESEARCH IN ASSISTANCE TO CUSTOMERS: Covers a whole spectrum of research from products specifically required by the cusustomers and which is part of traditional and consolidated business.
APPLIED RESEARCH regards a wide spectrum of research in the business sphere and in particular relative to the realization of tiles both in terms of aesthetic solutions for new materials as also aesthetic solutions. themselves. This area also covers the optimization of existing formulas both from a quality standpoint as also that of costs.
ADVANCED RESEARCH: this is structured in such a way as to cover basic research both in the areas of business as also in those areas intended for diversification. The activity is supported by a highly sophisticated control structure and is made up of a pool of specialized researchers who besides identifying new products, carry out and put together those scientific mechanisms which facilitate their formation.
ADVANCED RESEARCH INTO MACHINERY: was started as a result of the need to effect a scale-up of the output of advanced research, and in fact regards to a large measure, the study of new plant machinery for industrial application for new research processes and obviously is also intended for the purpose of improving existing plants.
In 1999 Ce.Ri.Col. (Centro Ricerche Colorobbia) was started to sustain the normal research activity of the Group, and is today one of the most advanced Italian laboratories in the field of new materials, The continuous development of its own know how, through collaboration with the most prestigious institutes of research both national and international, projects Ce.Ri.Col. into activity of a very high innovative content, which touches the most diverse scientific sectors.
